Nutrients

A nutrient is a number and an id, e.g. 150 kcal or 11 carb. The id sets the unit. Chow only accepts the ids listed here.

food multivitamin "House brand multivitamin" ; basis:rdi1993

With a Daily Value

You can write these as a percentage of the daily value, as on a nutrition label, e.g. 15% iron.

fda2016 is the set on US labels since 2016. rdi1993 is the older set. To use the older set, add basis:rdi1993 to the food.
